The Center for Justice and
Peacebuilding (CJP) was founded to further the personal and
professional development of individuals as peacebuilders and to
strengthen the peacebuilding capacities of the institutions they serve.
The program is committed to supporting conflict transformation and
peacebuilding efforts at all levels of society in situations of
complex, protracted, violent or potentially violent, social conflict in

The Center for Peacemaking and Conflict Studies (PACS) has been established at Fresno Pacific University:
1 to promote greater understanding of the dynamics of conflict,
2 to train persons in the theology, science and art of constructive conflict management,
3 to promote and assist in the
development of cooperative dispute resolution and justice programs
within the institutions of the church and society.
The Kansas Institute for Peace and Conflict Resolution (KIPCOR) functions as an institute within Bethel College to strengthen conflict resolution and peace-building capacities in the communities and institutions it serves. KIPCOR encourages research, education, skill development and dialogue to enhance the understanding and practice of managing conflict, and to prepare individuals and groups to be peacemakers and to seek social justice.
Through all appropriate means, but especially through arts and literature, The Lion and Lamb Peace Arts Center of Bluffton University promotes the study of peace, cross-cultural understanding, and nonviolent responses to conflict with an emphasis on these themes for children.
LMPC works to encourage the nonviolent
transformation of conflict in relationships in homes, workplaces,
schools, churches, and throughout our world. Our programs and
resources address ways of resolving conflicts and building healthier
relationships in all of these various settings.
The MCC Washington Office is a Mennonite
and Brethren in Christ presence on Capitol Hill providing and
encouraging prophetic witness to the way of Christ on matters of U.S.
public policy.

Christians in business and the professions committed to addressing
human needs around the world through business-oriented economic
development programs, and to applying biblical teachings in the

The study of peace, justice, and conflict has a long history at Goshen College. The Peace, Justice, and Conflict Studies program (PJCS) now covers a wide range of peace-related issues:
• from the classic concerns of war and peace,
• through contemporary issues of ethnic, national, and religious conflict,
• to applying peacemaking perspectives and skills to personal relationships and all aspects of community life.
