Adbusters A global network of artists, activists, writers, pranksters, students, educators and entrepreneurs who want to advance the new social activist movement of the information age. Our aim is to topple existing power structures and forge a major shift in the way we will live in the 21st century. 
Alternatives for Simple Living Alternatives is a non-profit organization that equips  people of faith to challenge consumerism, live justly and celebrate responsibly.  Started in 1973 as a protest against the commercialization of Christmas,  our focus is on encouraging celebrations that reflect conscientious ways of living. 
Buy Nothing Christmas Buy Nothing Christmas is a national initiative started by Canadian Mennonites but open to everyone with a thirst for change and a desire for action.
